1	Purpose of Position
	The Research Associate (RA) will be responsible for actively contributing to research projects by designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. The role involves refining user interfaces, ensuring responsive design, and integrating backend services to support research initiatives. The RA will work closely with team members to enhance the functionality and user experience of web-based platforms used in research projects.
2	Functions/Duties (Key Responsibilities)
	1. Lead the design, development, and server integration of web applications for research projects. 2. Develop responsive user interfaces with a focus on UI/UX design, ensuring a consistent experience across multiple platforms. 3. Integrate backend services and APIs for seamless data interaction and application functionality. 4. Collaborate with research teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. 5. Document technical project proposals, detailing the methodology, objectives, and anticipated outcomes.
3	Requirements
Qualification		Essential		Desired
		Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any relevant discipline from HEC recognized university		Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, or any relevant discipline from HEC recognized university
Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills/Abilities/ Competencies		Software & Tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Figma, Adobe XD Skills & Knowledge: · Proven experience in web development, including frontend and backend integration, UI/UX design, and server deployment. · Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like Angular or React, as well as backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python). · Familiarity with server integration, cloud services, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility. · Proficiency in writing technical and business proposals, as well as maintaining clear documentation. · Strong problem-solving abilities for debugging and optimizing web applications, with a focus on performance and scalability. · Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary research environment. · Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
