PI’s Profile:
Dr. Shahbaz Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at SMME, NUST. He holds a Ph.D. in Robotics and AI, with a specialized focus on drones, precision agriculture, and advanced artificial intelligence techniques. His research centers on developing intelligent systems to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural practices through automation and data-driven solutions. Dr. Khan has played a pivotal role in designing and deploying robotic solutions for challenges such as precision farming, crop monitoring, and autonomous harvesting by leveraging deep learning algorithms and machine vision. |
