Biosensor & Therapeutics Lab

Biosensor & Therapeutics Lab led by Prof. Dr Shah Rukh Abbas at NUST’s School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Sciences (SINES), focused on advancing healthcare through novel biosensors, nanomaterials and nanotherapeutics for improved diagnostics, imaging and drug delivery. Established as one of the first wet labs in SINES, it is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for biomolecular work, nanomaterials synthesis/characterization, electrochemistry and imaging. The group uses a multidisciplinary approach to develop early-diagnosis solutions and therapeutic agents from nanotechnology and bioconjugates.
