Kalsoom Jan student of MS CSE wins 3rd prize in poster competition

Kalsoom Jan, RCMS student of MS CS&E participated in “China-Pakistan Bilateral workshop on Ferromagnetic Hybrid structures” organised by School of Natural Sciences (SNS), NUST.

She received 3rd position in poster competition in which she presented the project “Theoretical investigations on organic materials for photovoltaic cells” completed during her internship under the supervision of Dr. Uzma Habib. The structural, optoelectronic and photovoltaic properties of different organic molecules containing Acceptor-Donor and Acceptor-Donor-Acceptor type moieties are designed and studied using DFT methods. ​
